Also, the traditional USB based charging accessories do not charge this device. Only a standard computer based USB port seems to work. We tried to use various older ac-usb,battery pwr USB, DC-usb nothing charged it. Seems Apple decided to wire the pwr to the USB pins and not the firewire.
